About Creator
Abdulkareem Abdullah Omotayo —a sculptor, painter, interior designer, and all-round creative innovator from Osun State, Nigeria. With a degree in Fine and Applied Arts from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
I’ve spent the past decade turning raw ideas into refined, functional and conceptual Art through form, texture, color, and space.
My journey in art deepened during my years as a Royal Artist to the Ooni of Ife, where I crafted regal artworks and interiors used as diplomatic gifts and cultural symbols. I had the honor of designing for royal courts and high-ranking dignitaries, blending tradition with creativity.
My work is grounded in philosophy, nature, vintage aesthetics, and life itself every piece is layered with meaning, often reflecting deeper thought or interpreting the natural world. Whether it’s a painting, sculpture, or a luxury interior, my approach remains the same: intentional, symbolic, and timeless.
From monumental works like the 20ft Wings sculpture at Ojaja Park in Akure, to custom pieces for prestigious names like Aliko Dangote, Mike Adenuga, and numerous hospitality spaces, I’ve been fortunate to let my art speak across diverse contexts.
In 2020, I co-manufactured an automobile fumigation machine that was distributed across all 36 states in Nigeria to combat the COVID-19 pandemic, an extension of my drive to innovate and serve.
Designed and worked on several Music video sets.
In 2024, I founded Ab0od0o to bring art closer to the everyday person — to make beauty, meaning, and design more accessible. My dream is to turn as many homes as possible into personal living galleries, because as I always say:
“The world is my canvas.”
